My 1956 Buick Special Gallery-Pre-Restoration & Paint

This is the gallery of professional photos of my 1956 Buick Special, “Torrid Lady.”  I had a professional photo shoot taken by Gretchen Leigh Photography, resulting in these excellent shots.  If you are looking for a great photographer for your classic car photos, Gretchen is the best in the Reno/Tahoe area.  You can go to her website and find out more by clicking the link above.

These were taken in 2012, before I had the new paint job on the car.  I can’t wait to see how good it will look when I get all the chrome back on the car with the new paint job.

  2. Hi Mike, got your question and we’re working on shooting a video to give you a better idea of what’s going on. We figure it will be easier to show than try to explain in text. I’ll let you know when we get the video posted on the website.

  3. Beautiful looking Buick. I’ve always loved Buicks of the 1950s and the 1960s. My favourite years are the 1951, 1952, 1956, 1960, 1963, 1964, 1969, and 1970.

  4. Hey Jason, thanks for stopping by the site, and thank you for the compliment. We are still trying to get it all back together! Hopefully soon though. Glad you’re a Buick fan, they sure are beautiful cars! Keep checking back for updates, we are hoping to start putting the engine back in soon. I think that calls for some video!
